I really hope they don't have to delay Season 1.

holy shit. i thought the new pen system would be like if your target had 200 armor and you had 50% penetration you'd be attacking them like they had 100 armor but it's much, much worse. the penetration is on the percent of damage they resist. so where they would be resisting 66.6% damage at 200 armor with no penetration if you are attacking them with 50% pen they'd only be resisting 33.3% damage which would be like they only had 50 armor. holy crap D:

I don't know where to start with runes =(

I generally play Janna (mostly suppport roles).. sometimes Ashe.. and Lirange told me to try annie. I don't usually play tank or melee champs (no good with those).

If that matters in deciding what runes to start with.

Edit: and I'm level 10 (almost 11!!!!) and I only have like 2k IP. but I think I'll be getting Janna once the tryforfree thing finishes.

i'd wait until 20 to buy runes. you cna't buy tier 3 before then.

if things stay as is my base ez build will probably change to

merc treads or swiftness, a hextech revolver or two (+40ap, +10% spell vamp), and of course sheen > lich bane. if someone is actually getting 100 mr other than the tank then i'll get void staff. sorc boots and haunting guise aren't worth it anymore. the early game damage from them that continued through the rest of the game on anyone not getting a lot of mr was great but this new system kills it.
