I might be going this round. If so, keep an eye on dyna and esen.
|
Hmm, someone just explained to me how since vasu died, humans are going to win in the end. Like this
Legals kill 3/8 Human vote wrong person 2/8 Legal kill 1/8 then the human will know the other person is legal and then they're dead And the person said that theres no point in playing But i still want the game to end, by one group being exterminated, because i want there to be a winner. Not just a list of people who could have won. Like an actual winner, who survived the legals killing, and who didn't get voted off. So even though the humans are going to win, i still want you guys to keep on playing. |
updated
you guys can do it! if you get this person right, the sooner the next game will start please pm your votes! |
Told you releasing those vote tallies without letting the legals vote would gimp the legals.
|
Haha. Tama's never gonna get his gender right.
|
yea.. i think i should remove it
people can easily prove their humans by saying ima vote for this person, that way you guys will know i'm a human |
Yep. In the live games, the legals vote along with the townspeople. It makes sense in a themactic game as well, since they are trying to blend in. In a mob rule scene, when yelling who they would vote for, I don't think a legal would survive by saying they prefer to abstain from voting.
|
Perhaps next time, in the last round, instead of automatically making whoever's turn it is to win, perhaps we could go all survivor and try to appeal to the dead humans and see who they think is the legel.
This narrows it down to Dyna and Esen, though it doesnt really matter as of now... |
So are you suggesting that i should allow legals to vote and show the results?
Or not allow legals to vote and not show the votes. Theres going to be 16 people in the upcoming game i believe, so it'd be 5v11 And also not to mention the 2 new roles that are going to be in the next game which will be sided with the humans which of the options should i do? |
Quote:
what? are you saying dead people should say who they think is a legal? |
nah, im saying this is how the last vote should go:
The two remaining players (assuming it's down to 1 human, 1 legel) stand up in front of the dead humans, and each posts reasons why they should be believed to be the human. Then, the dead humans vote, and the one with the most votes is allowed to live. You could rationalize it by saying the dead spirits of the innocent humans came to take vengence on the one who killed them *shrugs* sorry, didnt see your second post. Yes, that's basically what im saying, except the votes are reversed and you vote for who you think is innocent after both remaining people make their case. |
But doesn't that kind of ruin the point of the game?
You're supposed to try and convince people that you're innocent throughout the game, and if you have managed to live through till the end, then you shouldn't need to convince -again- because you've already done a good job of it throughout the whole thing. Dead people should be dead. |
Ah, but we're in a world of fantasy in this game. Therefore, the souls of the innocent taking a final revenge on the dark souls that killed them should be the ultimate ending.
Besides, isnt it kinda boring to just say "whoo! i made it! i win"? isnt one final showdown kind of more climactic? |
hmm thats an interesting idea
but when its 1v1, there should be enough evidence that everyone already know who is the legal. and the chances of a 1v1 is also unlikely maybe if it ever comes to that, and its not obvious who the legal is, we can do that |
How would it be obvious? i mean, no one would know who killed who. therefore, both competitors have just as much chance.

everyone voted for him and if its 1v1, it would make it that much easier and if you analysis all the posts people make, the voting results, there should be enough evidence to who the legal is. But that is why i said that if it is not obvious who the legal is, i might do that Quote:
see if it would work |
I don't really like Jikanu's idea. I don't see a point to it.
As for voting, I think Legels should vote. This is game is pretty much over due to the set up. Why drag on a game that is already over? I guess I should note that I see this game with a team win and not a individual win. Last person of that team standing = that team's win. Doesn't matter who's dead. Edit: Oh, except if there's less humans than legels cause then the humans can't win anyway if legels can vote. |
Which is traditionally how its done, at least in the live version. This is the first forums version I've done.
|
yea, i guess it is a team win, but its kinda like, a fight to the end? even though we know the outcome. But i'm sure some people would like to see who would survive. Unless no one cares, then i will just end the game now.
|
*Raises hand* i care... the suspence is nice.
|
Im...dead...D:
You cant drain what was never there. I'm a guy...LOL I didnt want to die this way. I wanted the humans to kill me... I also think that legals should vote in the daytime. |
If the Legel is Esen, I will have lost all faith. :<
|
xD @ Ness. So you could join EnEn and Blahs?
Ralath~ |
Or me.
Should I be worried? |

My vote has been sent. i just hope i'm right. |
^I found that amusing.
|
*haunts Jikanu*
please let me stay with you. Helga has Athlete's foot. D: yep Esen. I wanted to die as a human killed by humans. |
Why do you want to haunt me...? o_o
Um... kay then... o_o |
For the next round:
1. You can make the votes private. This works more in favour of legals. 2. You can let legals vote. Or my suggestion: Add the legals vote only if it doesn't change the overall decision of the humans. What I mean is: Let's suppose the votes were: Vasu: 4/7 Ralath: 1/7 Dyna: 1/7 Then you can just fit the votes around based on the legals' request, such as adding their vote to my name, because it won't make a difference in the outcome. And you can add up to 2 votes to either Ralath or Dyna, or for anybody else, so that it doesn't change the final decision of the humans. I hope you understand. :o |
I don't think your suggestion would work. Adding dud votes like that doesn't help the legals enough. I'd prefer it if legals were just allowed to vote.
|
But atleast the legals can say, "I voted for x" without being caught out, but the humans will still be able to have the final say on the executions.

I dont think I've played with that many legals in a life game.. the ratios were more like 1/4 or 1/5 rather than 1/3... Then it wouldnt matter if the votes results are revealed.. as that's suppose to be another source for humans to find the legal... |
yes, humans will be able to vote.
And after reading hessahs post, i think i'll change the ratio to 1:4 hopefully it will balance the game i will update the game now |
Has everyone sent in their votes?
|
updated it
will ask this to be closed will be starting next game very soon |
Nuuuuuuuuuuuuu Esen.... :cries: You had my trust and I even vouched for you...
|
LOL, I was waiting for that shoe to drop. I thought she might have a chance.
|
lol me to, i thought esen was going to sly through the game.
|
Yesssss. Both my last votes were right on.
