I kind of wondered about this... but it's kind of obvious they use prerecording during their performances. Or at least a good chunk of the song. Do artists these days ever get hell for this? I haven't gone to pop artist concerts in years. I've mostly been to rock which kind of have to be raw. I remember back in middle school, Britney Spears got hell from people because she lip synced at her concerts. Her manager simply told people something like "You try singing AND dancing without sounding winded." |
I find that good concert nowadays mix pre-recorded and real mic noise to get the best quality / performance.
I'm mostly taking examples from HK concerts, they get the artist to sing live through the concert's mic, record it, then replay it during the concert + dance... so it sounds like it's coming straight from the mic, but it's actually pre-recorded.. or like the kpop music bank stuff... they mix a lot of echos into the real music so you almost can't tell if the artist missed a note... |

They rarely sing live at concerts though...
|
but they should be!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
I wasn't complaining. Just curious how people nowadays react to it. Clearly part of their act is their dance moves and surely it must be hard to sing in a clear voice while you're dancing x.x

tbh I think I'll be really disappointed if they don't sing live tomorrow T_T I'LL TELL YOU WHETHER THEY DO THAT OR NOT!
|
tbh, it was hard for me to tell at my concert because I think they played the backing track really loud. It wasn't until I watched the performances online that I actually saw that they were singing live.

they all sang live ! =D except tvxq didn't sing one of their songs live lulz.
hey which song is this? |
