yes I appreciate my mum's thoughtfulness so much more now.

Actually I think being smacked as a kid disciplined me. Smacked to sleep --> I never have sleeping problems now

She also recently told me a story where I dropped down to the floor in the public to throw a tantrum when she wouldn't let me do something I wanted to do. She then took me home fast and smacked me on the butt to punish me --> have hardly done anything too rebellious throughout teenage years

I had a uni friend who got a new car (well a second hand one but an expensive one) and he was like "I'm getting this one now cos it's like, gonna be my family car'
